Can anything good come out of the inner city? Is there hope for the rubble and chaos in our urban centers? God's bride, His Church, is the hope! Transformed lives are arising out of the rubble of the city. World Impact missionaries are committed to making disciples, and empowering them through the establishment of healthy, community-led, Christ-centered churches.

Getting away from the city allows renewal and refreshment for urban families. Camps are held at THE OAKS, World Impact's Conference Center at Lake Hughes.  Students look forward to attending camp and they have a riotously good time! Men's conferences and women's retreats challenge inner city adults to seek after God. Click here to see more camp pictures.

Games, crafts, Bible lessons and snacks draw kids to Bible Club. Children learn about the God who loves them, and have lots of fun as well. Relationships are built between students, parents, volunteers and staff.

World Impact was given this thrift store by Fresno's First Presbyterian Church. This well-established store makes clothing and household items available at very reasonable prices, and is used for job training, as well as financial support for the ministry of World Impact.  In February 2008 it moved from its location at U and Tulare Streets to the World Impact Center at 1955 Broadway.

The Urban Ministry Institute of Fresno is a satellite extension of The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI) in Wichita, Kansas. Its focus is men and women who serve in urban churches, ministry and missions. Our program provides excellent theological course work, and Christian leadership training through seminars, workshops and classes taught by experienced faculty.
